Omnine LLC · omnine.ai and Orion

Effective date: August 9, 2026 Last updated: September 22, 2026

Who we are

Omnine LLC operates omnine.ai and the Orion product. In this policy, "we" and "Omnine" mean Omnine LLC. "You" means anyone who visits omnine.ai or uses Orion.

Orion is offered to people in the United States. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, please read the section near the end of this policy explaining why you cannot create an account yet and what we do if you have already given us something.

Our address is P.O. Box 8082, Calabasas, CA 91372. You can reach us at support@omnine.com about anything in this policy.

What this policy covers

This policy covers omnine.ai and Orion. It also covers the email we send you and the email you send us, which uses addresses at omnine.com. It does not cover the omnine.com website, which is our consulting practice and has its own policy, and it does not cover any third party site we link to.

The short version

Orion is available in the United States. You tell Orion about your work and your life. We store it so Orion can use it for you. You decide what may leave the system, and we never sell it. You can export everything at any time, and you can ask us to delete all of it or any part of it.

The longer version follows, because the details matter.

You must be 18 or older

Orion is for adults in the United States. You must be at least 18 years old and resident in the United States to create an account. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and if we learn that we have, we will delete it.

Information you give us

Account information. Your first name, last name, and email address. If you create a password, it is stored by our authentication provider as a cryptographic hash, and we never see or store the password itself. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and basic profile information from Google.

Your Record. This is the substance of the product. It includes everything you say to Orion in a session, whether typed or spoken: your answers, the sharpened versions Orion writes back, the questions you were asked, and every version of every entry you save. It spans all three pillars, Work, Life, and Growth, and it includes anything you capture in the Growth log.

Information Orion derives from your Record. Summaries of each group of chapters, the throughline that describes you, your voice profile, and your place on the Omnine ladder. This is generated from what you have said, it is personal information about you, and it is covered by every right described in this policy including deletion.

Sensitive information, and how we treat it. Some chapters across all three pillars, Work, Life, and Growth, ask about things the law protects more strictly than ordinary information: health, including mental and reproductive health; religious, philosophical, and political belief; racial, ethnic, or national origin; relationships, including sex life and sexual orientation; and trade union membership.

We have read every question in all three pillars, 1,500 of them, and identified fourteen chapters that reach this kind of information. Before you begin any of them, we ask for your explicit agreement, we name what that chapter asks about, and we record what you agreed to and when. You can withdraw that agreement at any time from your settings, and withdrawing it deletes the content you wrote in that chapter rather than merely stopping us from using it.

Nothing in Work, Life, or Growth is required. Declining a chapter closes that chapter and nothing else. Every other chapter in the pillar stays open to you.

We do not knowingly collect genetic data or biometric data used to identify you, and no chapter asks about them. One Work chapter asks about trade union membership; it is consent gated like the other protected chapters, and the same withdrawal rights apply, including deletion of what you wrote there. If you write something protected into any other answer, it is covered by the same protections and the same rights as everything else in your Record.

Notes on articles. If you write a note on an article, we store it with that article.

Documents you upload. If you upload a resume or another document, we store the file and the structured information we extract from it.

Work materials. Job postings you paste, companies you are targeting, events you log such as interviews or meetings, and the outputs Orion generates from them.

Contacts you add. Names, companies, roles, and notes about people in your network. See the section on imported contacts below, because that information is about other people.

Payment information. If you subscribe, our payment processor collects and stores your payment details. We never receive or store your full card number.

Messages you send us. If you contact support, we keep the message.

Information collected automatically

Usage and technical data. Log information such as pages requested, timestamps, IP address, browser type, and device type, kept by our hosting provider for security and reliability.

AI usage metering. For each generation, we record which model was used, how many tokens were consumed, and when. This is operational metering used for cost control and rate limiting. It records the size of a request, not what you said.

Cookies. We use cookies that are strictly necessary to keep you signed in and to keep the service secure. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not run third party advertising or tracking pixels.

Voice and dictation, and where your audio goes

You can answer Orion by speaking instead of typing. This deserves its own section because of how it works.

Dictation uses your browser's built in speech recognition. In Chrome and in some other browsers, this means the audio is sent to that browser vendor's servers, currently Google, where it is converted to text and returned to your device. That transfer happens between your browser and the browser vendor. Omnine does not receive or store the audio, and we cannot control what the browser vendor does with it. Their terms and their privacy policy govern that processing, not ours.

What we receive and store is the resulting text, exactly as if you had typed it.

If you do not want your voice leaving your device, type your answers instead. Every part of Orion works fully by typing.

If we ever replace browser speech recognition with our own transcription service, we will update this policy before that change takes effect and say plainly what changes.

The Score conversation on omnine.ai

The landing page invites you to talk for two minutes and returns an Omnine Score. That conversation is handled in two different ways, and the line between them is the email step.

Before the email step, we store nothing. Your words are sent to our AI provider, a score and a read come back, and neither the conversation nor the result is written to our database. Close the page and it is gone.

When you request the deeper read and give us your email, we store that conversation and the read it produced. We do this so Orion already knows you if you decide to join. That record is encrypted at rest and readable only by our servers, with no path for any browser or any other user to reach it. If you later create an account with the same email address, it is linked to your account.

You can ask us to delete it at any time, whether or not you ever create an account.

How we use your information

We use it to:

  • Run Orion: ask you questions, write your Record, and generate the outputs you request
  • Personalize what Orion produces so it sounds like you and uses only what you have said
  • Compute your Omnine standing on the ladder from Skeptic to Orchestrator
  • Provide, maintain, and secure the service
  • Take payment and manage your subscription
  • Send you transactional email such as sign in links, receipts, and account notices
  • We may email you when we publish a new piece on Learn. Every message has an unsubscribe link.
  • Respond to you when you contact us
  • Meet legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross context behavioral advertising.

Permission tags and what leaves the system

Every entry in your Record carries a permission tag: public, professional, personal, private, or sealed.

The tag governs what may leave, not what Orion may see. Orion works from everything you have told it, because that is what makes the coaching useful. What the tag controls is whether a given entry may be used in something produced for the outside world: a resume, a cover letter, an outreach message, a LinkedIn profile, or any other outward output.

Entries tagged sealed never leave. They are never included in anything Orion generates for an external audience.

You can see and change the tag on any entry at any time.

Notes you write on an article are separate from your Record and carry no tag. Orion keeps a note with the article it belongs to. It is used to show your note back to you and to continue that conversation, and for nothing else: it is never used in a resume, a cover letter, a post, an article draft, or a prompt written for another AI. Unless you turn on use in things Orion writes for someone else. It is included in your export and it is removed when you delete your account.

Some things Orion writes are for you alone and read your full Record regardless of tag: the summaries on your own pages, the throughline that describes you, and the coaching inside a session. Those are shown only to you and are never published anywhere by us.

Your Omnine standing

Orion places you on a ladder from Skeptic to Orchestrator based on how you have used the product and what you have said about your own use of AI. It is computed automatically, it is shown only to you, and it carries a plain sentence explaining what moved it.

This is a coaching signal. It does not decide anything about you, it is not shared with anyone, and no decision with legal or similarly significant effect is made about you on an automated basis. If you disagree with your standing, write to us and a person will look at it.

AI processing

Orion uses a third party AI provider to generate text. When you use the product, the relevant parts of your Record are sent to that provider so it can produce what you asked for.

Our commitment: we do not use your Record to train any AI model, and we do not permit our providers to train their models on it. We confirmed our provider's business terms support this on the date this policy took effect, and we keep a dated copy of those terms. If a provider's terms ever change in a way that conflicts with this commitment, we will change providers or change this policy before your content is affected.

We do not sell your content.

Who we share information with

We share information with service providers who process it on our behalf and under contract. Each one receives only what it needs.

ProviderWhat it handlesWhere

We also share information when the law requires it, when we must to protect our rights or someone's safety, and in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will tell you before your information moves to a new owner.

Contacts you add or import

Orion lets you record people in your network, and lets you import a connections export from LinkedIn.

That information is about other people, not about you. When you add or import it, you are asking us to store and process it so that Orion can help you with your outreach. We use it only for that purpose, only for you. We do not contact those people, we do not add them to any list of ours, and we do not sell or share their information.

You are responsible for having a lawful reason to hold contact information about the people you add, and for meeting any obligation you have to them under the law where you live.

If someone in your list asks us to remove their information, we will do it and tell you.

You can delete any contact at any time, and deleting your account removes all of them.

Payments

Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Stripe collects your payment details directly and we never receive your full card number. We receive the fact that a payment succeeded or failed, your subscription status, and the identifiers we need to manage your plan. Stripe's own privacy policy governs their handling of your payment information.

How long we keep things

WhatHow long
Your Record and account dataFor as long as your account exists. Removed from our live systems immediately when you delete it, with a sealed copy held 30 days so support can restore a mistaken deletion. After 30 days the sealed copy of your Record is deleted. Certain de-identified records of what was consented to and of how the service was administered may remain; they contain no information that identifies you.
Deeper read conversations from the landing page (never claimed by an account)12 months from the conversation, or sooner if you ask.
AI usage metering12 months while tied to your account. After 12 months the link to your account is removed and the remaining technical record (model, tokens, purpose) is kept without identifying you. Rows still linked to an account are deleted when the account is deleted.
Records of how the service was run (incident and administration records)7 years. These record whether a cost control, a legal notice, or an account action did or did not happen, and what staff did. They contain no information that identifies you: any reference to an account is removed the moment the account is deleted and the record is kept without it.
De-identified outcome counts contributed to internal benchmarksIndefinitely. These are counts only. They contain no information that identifies you, cannot be linked back to any account, and cannot be removed once written. Turning the permission off stops further contributions; what has already been counted stays.
Billing, tax, and renewal-acceptance recordsAs long as tax, accounting, and consumer-protection law require. This includes the exact wording and timestamp of any renewal consent you gave before a charge. (Renewal-acceptance rows are retained for 7 years from the date of consent.)
Residency waitlist addressesUntil you ask us to delete the address. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

When you delete something, it is removed from our live systems immediately. Two kinds of copy can outlive that, and both are limited.

If you delete your whole account, we keep a sealed copy of it for 30 days so that support can restore it if you tell us the deletion was a mistake. It sits outside the live product, nothing in Orion can read it, and it is deleted automatically at 30 days. Deleting an individual entry, a chapter, or a pillar does not create one. Certain de-identified records of what was consented to and of how the service was administered may remain after the sealed copy is gone; they contain no information that identifies you.

Copies can also persist in our providers' routine backups for a short period afterward, and those backups are not used to restore anything you deleted. They age out on the provider's ordinary cycle.

Your choices and your rights

These apply to everyone, wherever you live.

Export. You can export your Record at any time from inside the product. One file is machine readable and covers all three pillars, every version of every entry, everything Orion has derived from your words, and your consent record. The other is a readable document. It is yours, and there is no lock in.

Correct. You can edit any entry at any time. Editing creates a new version rather than destroying the old one, and you can see the history.

Delete part of it. You can delete individual entries, or clear an entire pillar, from inside the product, without closing your account.

Delete all of it. You can delete your account yourself, from inside the product. Deleting your account removes your Record, everything Orion derived from it that is still linked to you, and your account. De-identified counts you previously contributed to internal benchmarks cannot be removed, because nothing connects them to you. That limitation is stated in the consent before you agree to contribute. The one thing kept is the record of what you agreed to when you were charged, described at the end of the section above, and your name comes off it. It is immediate, you cannot sign in afterwards, and you cannot undo it from inside Orion, so the deletion screen offers you the export first. If a deletion turns out to be a mistake, write to support@omnine.com within 30 days and we can restore it from the sealed copy described above. You can also write to us and we will delete the account for you.

Control what leaves. Change the permission tag on any entry, at any time.

Withdraw consent for sensitive chapters. If you agreed to a chapter that asks about health, belief, origin, or relationships, you can withdraw that agreement at any time from your settings. Withdrawing deletes what you wrote in that chapter, along with anything Orion built from it, and leaves the rest of your Record untouched.

Email. Transactional email such as sign in links and receipts is part of the service. Any marketing email has an unsubscribe link in every message.

To make any request, write to support@omnine.com. We will verify who you are before acting, usually by confirming control of the email address on the account, and we will respond within the time the law allows, which is 45 days in California and comparable periods in the other states with privacy laws.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom

You cannot create an account yet, and we would rather tell you why than let you find out at checkout.

Serving members in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom properly means appointing a representative in each of those regions, under Article 27 of the GDPR and the UK GDPR, so that you have somewhere local to bring a question or a complaint. We have not appointed them yet. Rather than take your information first and work out the obligation afterward, we have restricted accounts to the United States until that is in place.

We do not offer or market Orion in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom. The site is reachable from anywhere, because the web works that way, but signups are limited to the United States and we do not target those regions with advertising, pricing, language options, or anything else.

If you have already given us something. If you used the two minute conversation on the landing page and gave us your email for the deeper read, that record exists and you can have it removed. Write to support@omnine.com and we will delete it, without asking you to prove anything beyond control of the address.

We intend to open to both regions. When we do, this policy will be replaced by one that names our representatives, sets out our legal bases under Article 6 and Article 9, and describes your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and portability in full. The product work behind those rights is already built: explicit consent chapter by chapter, withdrawal that deletes rather than merely stops, machine readable export, self service deletion, and correction with version history. What is missing is the paperwork, not the mechanism.

If you are in California

The California Consumer Privacy Act as amended gives you specific rights.

Categories we have collected in the last twelve months: identifiers such as name and email; commercial information such as subscription and transaction records; internet activity such as usage logs; audio or voice information only in the sense described in the dictation section above; professional and employment information; inferences drawn from your Record, such as your throughline and your standing on the ladder; and sensitive personal information, described below.

Sources: you, directly. Your browser and device. Our service providers.

Purposes: the ones listed under How we use your information.

Sensitive personal information. Fourteen chapters across the Work, Life, and Growth pillars ask about health, religious or philosophical belief, racial or ethnic origin, sex life and sexual orientation, or trade union membership. What you choose to write in them is sensitive personal information under California law. We use it only to provide the product to you. We do not use it to infer characteristics about you for any other purpose, and we do not sell or share it. You may ask us to limit our use of it at any time by writing to support@omnine.com, and you may withdraw your agreement to any of those chapters from your settings, which deletes what you wrote there.

Your rights: to know what we have collected, to access it, to correct it, to delete it, to limit our use of sensitive personal information, and not to be treated differently for exercising any of these rights.

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross context behavioral advertising. We have not done so in the last twelve months.

To exercise any of these rights, write to support@omnine.com. You may use an authorized agent, and we may ask for proof of their authority.

If you are elsewhere in the United States

Several states including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, and Montana give residents rights similar to those described in the California section: to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of your information, and to opt out of sale or targeted advertising, which we do not do. Write to support@omnine.com and we will honor your request under the law that applies to you. If your state gives you the right to appeal a refusal, we will tell you how when we respond.

Security

Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Database access is scoped so that your rows are readable only by your account. The deeper read records captured on the landing page are reachable only by our servers and have no path from any browser.

No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot promise that one ever will be. If a breach affects your information, we will tell you, and we will notify the authorities the law requires us to notify, within the time it requires.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will tell you before the change takes effect, by email or in the product. The effective date at the top always reflects the current version.
